Should have known.
It's not like I haven't read her books before, I mean, I just got through with one! I should have known you don't start a Deanna Raybourn book at 10:40 p.m. when your clock is set for 6 something the next morning. I finally MADE myself stop reading because the "I'll stop at the end of this chapter" mantra was not working. Then Mother Nature deemed it necessary to prove the weathermen right and spew forth rain and wind and thunder and lightening at 0:dark30 this morning. The 'lectricity went off and I slept on, dreaming endless and sparse moorish dreams with rumblings and screams of the wind courtesy of Mrs. Raybourn.
Then I woke up and it was my birthday. And I get to read more of Silent On The Moor today. Happy birthday to me!
Order a book you won't be able to put down.
