Yesterday afternoon

I heard the Canadian Geese down at the pond beside my house and went down there with my camera. I managed to get situated beside a pecan tree without scaring off the geese but Wood Ducks were circling over head and the squirrels were sounding the alarm. With every squeak, bark and noise in squirreldom, five or six squirrels made it known there was a big white girl by the pond and the ducks circled and circled.

By the time the squirrels went back to building nests, the ducks finally lit on the pond and it was too late/dark for my camera to focus. I did get a pic of the goose leaving when a Blue Heron lit on a rotten branch of the oak tree and broke it. Scared all of the critters and I decided it was time for me to leave.
